Beacon Day Treatment is a Center-Based Program for emotionally impaired students located in Wayne County and operated by Southgate
Community Schools. Beacon provides programming for 190 students (maximum) and services over 20 school districts. The mission at
Beacon Day Treatment is to challenge and empower all students to overcome obstacles by acquiring the skills and self-confidence
necessary to experience success, recognize their potential, and meet the demands of the future. Beacon provides a dynamic, individualized
educational and treatment program provided in a positive, caring environment by people who are dedicated to excellence.
